What to know about Alumnae Associations
Alumnae associations are a great option for members who want to connect with sisters, but do not want to start a traditional alumnae chapter with the requirements of dues, officers and reports. Alumnae associations are required annually to complete an association registration form that asks for the group leader and the association’s purpose.
Alumnae associations can meet in-person or virtually. An alumnae association is a group of members who meet based on interest, location or chapter affiliation. The benefit of an association is listing on Alpha Sigma Alpha website, assistance from Sorority staff and volunteers, an opportunity to meet members with similar interests and a fun way to stay connected to the Sorority.
