Four chapters were installed in 1946: Beta Mu Chapter, Henderson State Teachers College (Henderson State University), AR, on May 4, Gamma Clio Chapter, New York State College, (SUNY-Cortland), on May 4, Beta Nu Chapter, Murray State Teachers College (Murray State University), KY, on May 18, and Beta Xi Chapter, New York State College for Teachers, (SUNY-Oneonta) on May 18.
