Officer Academy

Officer Academy is Alpha Sigma Alpha’s training conference to provide selected collegiate chapter officers the skills they need to fill their specific leadership roles. The 2025 Officer Academy included a balanced schedule of events for the vice presidents of recruitment and vice presidents of education that achieved the following objectives:

 

Growth
Participants will learn how to articulate Alpha Sigma Alpha’s compelling case for its continued relevance and significance and how to communicate their chapter’s value proposition. Vice presidents of recruitment will be given strategies and tools to grow their chapters.

 

Membership experience
Participants will learn best practices to cultivate an inclusive environment where members feel a sense of belonging in the organization and in their chapters. Vice presidents of education will learn techniques for increasing chapter retention of new members and initiated members.
