Scholarships

The Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation believes that learning should last a lifetime and our commitment to that belief is carried out through scholarships available to students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees. Thousands of dollars in scholarships are provided annually. Individuals working towards their undergraduate or graduate degree, you are eligible to apply for a scholarship from the Foundation. One individual will be selected for each scholarship, unless otherwise noted below. Financial need is not considered when determining merit unless specified.

Scholarship Information

Scholarship applications for the 2025-26 academic year will open December 1, 2024, and close March 1, 2025. All scholarship applications are evaluated using an anonymizing method that removes applicant names, pictures, institutions and chapter designations to reduce implicit bias.

All portions of scholarship applications must be completed in the application system. No paper or email attachments will be accepted outside of the system. All application responses must be the applicant’s own original content; use of AI will result in disqualification from consideration.

Excluding financial need information from the application will not count against the applicant on any merit-based scholarships, but the applicant will not be considered for scholarships that do include a financial need in recipient qualifications.

Members enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program that will take place in the next school year are eligible. Graduate students who do not yet have a graduate school GPA or transcript should use the most recent GPA and transcript available. Designated scholarships are also available to non-members.

Award recipients will be notified via mail or email by early June and scholarship award amounts will be mailed directly to recipient institutions during the summer.
