How much will help the Foundation?
Gifts to the Foundation benefit the unrestricted fund unless otherwise noted. These donations provide grants for Sorority programs, maintain the Foundation’s operations and advance the Foundation’s mission.
A gift of $100 can:
- Cover the Foundation grant investment for one collegian to attend Emma Coleman Frost Leadership Development Institute to develop her skills as an authentic leader.
- Fund 1/3 of the cost for CrowdChange fundraising platform used by every collegiate chapter fundraise for Special Olympics, Girls on the Run, the Foundation or community charities.
- Send seven collegiate women to experience The Academy keynote message.
- Provide a new module of Behind Happy Faces mental health curriculum to more than 600 collegians.
Every donor has a different capacity for personal giving and donations of all sizes are appreciated in helping the Foundation meet its mission.

Volunteer for the Foundation
The Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation relies on donors to enable continued funding and it relies on volunteers to help the organization best serve donors and Sorority members. Foundation volunteers not only commit to charitable giving, but to service as well. Many opportunities exist for volunteering including but not limited to board service, sending handwritten thank you notes to donors, evaluating scholarship and individual grant applications and more. If you are interested in helping the Foundation through your time as well as talent, learn more at Foundation Volunteering – we would love to have you!
